Condos planned for old Electrolux site in Greenville

Greenville - City officials are looking at condominiums and other uses for what had been one of the largest refrigerator plants in the nation.

Yeah that's what the town needs......more places to live. Haven't they seen all the houses for sale around here? Why would people without out jobs need expensive condos? Why not another pizza place, salon, or perhaps another bar? Like we don't already have enough of those either.

Just who do they think can afford those condos?(Retireees want a lake view....not a vacant lot view!)

IMO...in about 10 years they will be known as "The Projects".... and there will be plenty of hookers and drug dealers to support the economy in Greenville.(The La Cosa Nostra type folks who can afford condos!)

really???? I work in Greenville. There are so many "For Sale" or "For Rent" signs in buildings, on lawns in windows. I just don't get their logic behind wanting to put up more condos.
