This is not good news. I've been a prescriptives user since 1993. They took it away from LS Ayres retail sales, made it more difficult to find locally, now the line is retiring. The foundation and loose powder is the absolute best ever. What are you thinking?

There is an answer….Arbonne International. The products are awesome, equivalent, if not better than Prescriptive. Please send me an email and I can tell you more about the products; twylyn1@yahoo.com

They're thinking that they're made in the USA, that's what they're thinking! Buy American, while you still have a job!!!

Estee Lauder doesn't care about customer loyalty. Prescriptives was Estee Lauder's best line. I've used Prescriptives foundation since the line was launched. There is no other line where I can find a perfect foundation match and trust me I've looked since Prescriptives was discontinued. I sure won't be buying anything from the many other lines owned by Estee Lauder!!

I agree. I've used the Prescriptives custom blend foundation for such a long time. When I went to the store to purchase another product I was told that Prescriptives was out of business. I am extremely disappointed in Estee Lauder for making this "business" decision without providing a suitable alternative. Your reps have tried to sell me a "comparable" product, but I have not been satisfied with what they try to push on me. I've tried others and nothing quite matches up. I do not see myself ever buying another Estee Lauder product again.

I have used Prescriptives ever since I was a young who first learnt to use cosmetics. It withdrew from the market in Singapore many years back and I didnt want to go for Estee and moved on to others but it's never the same. With the Custom Blend, it was perfection. I was never happier. Now I am sad that they have closed all counters. I still don't understand why Prescriptives cannot make it! It had been the best choice for me and it will always be if I could get it locally.

I first started to use Prescriptives when I was a GM at the Broadway in Sherman Oaks, CA. The line was brand new, that was 1981 or '82 I got hooked on Line Preventor. I love that product. I went into Macy's today - Sunday August 22nd, 2010 - because I needed a new bottle. To my disappointment I was told that the line does not exist any longer. I could have cried. I asked if anyone else carries it, and was politely told it is out of business. Why did'nt I know about this? I was extremely loyal. I would have purchased several bottles. If there is any way to get this product, I would love to know. I could go on - Thanx for listening.

I agree; Estee Lauder should know by now there are far too many of us who depend on effective skin care products. ALL YOU NEED and ALL CLEAN are the best products I've ever used.

Hooray! The online demand for Prescriptives has enabled the company to continue to sell AND reproduce their products, including much-loved All You Need, Line Preventor, Custom Blend Foundation (if you know your formula or have had it registered), AnyWhere, and other makeup!!!!

If a particular item shows up as sold out online, check back because they always make more and it becomes available again. Sign up for email alerts from them and they will also inform you when best-sellers are back in stock. I got one today for all the All You Need products.

Loyal PX customers have helped to keep them around so keep buying!!!

Does anyone know if they still carry the blemish specialist? I occasionally have a pimple and this took care of it immediately.

Topical skin care is helpful, but can only take you so far. See why here: http://www.antiagingjournal.org/anti-aging-sk...

I agree with the other Prescriptive lovers....it's the best make-up I have found....I love the anywear stick and the "site unseen" concealer....looks like there were a lot of satisfied customers in the past, and also are a lot of disappointed customers who can no longer buy Prescriptives in the stores....I don't know why Estee Lauder made this decision, but it was a bad one for me....I will continue to order online where I can get the best price..I just ordered the anywear sticks from ebay...Estee Lauder, please reconsider your decision to close out your best line!
