Any excuse to raise the price..they could break a valve and spill ten gallons and the media would get the info and the price would go up...if every one does not know it by now, they are a bunch of leeches...and the people that can do something about it have avested interest..bottom line we are $crewed.

Why do we have to pay for the pipeline when it is the large oil compamys fault.

Pity we have a legislative body in office right now that can't get off their duff and do something to at least regulate the rate at which the gas companies can raise or lower prices (not saying regulate the industry as a whole)... but there should be a buffer between world events, stock prices, and the resulting increase in gas prices so that short term, relatively small incidents such as this do not cause such reactionary increases in gas prices.

The repair clamp was probably made in China from U.S. scrap metal. If the crime rate is increasing, do nothing except move farther away and hope the criminals can not afford the gas to visit your new neighborhood. Sad about the workers.

Why don't you people buy oil company stock and make an obscene amount of money. Then you can drive wherever and whenever you want and go on those vacations that you think you are entitled to by someone..somewhere. Who set the price on gas? God? you? Why don't you people take a salary cut and help those people that do not even drive?
