They will interview solely based upon what is on your resume. So if you lied on your resume they will catch you in it.

That's great paul. Firstly, do you have a college degree? Not that it will hurt you..but I'm trying to base it off of that .

No, it should not have an effect on you. Can I ask what your work experience is like? What have you been studying so far? I actually used to contract for ConEd but I do not work there.

Hey guys went for my interview last week and road test...and this past wed. was offered a position with Con Ed as a Heavy Equipment Operator Heavy.. I can tell you my interview was about 2hours long, it is a structured interview. There were something like 30 questions that the Transportation manager and a woman from H.R asked me..yes there are situational questions. Be Honest and dont make up stories...
I have a question now, I have to get my Escort Certification . Does anyone know if this is a multi choice test.........Thanks...going my for my drug test and physical on Tues...Good Luck to all and have a great Holiday

after the road test is the interview, which is usually the same day. be calm for everything. they are both very easy. after that is the medical, and on the drug test it is a urine test. they normally don't watch but they have a tempurature meter on the cup so use you'r own urine. any falsification shown you will be automatically terminated. after you pass that then comes the orientation

the interview can be trickey, but don't be too nervous about it. basically they ask how you would use previous job expierience on the job you are applying for. so know you'r stuf.

I had a phone interview about 2 months ago and I'm schedue fr another on June 28th. I learned fom my previous interview the importance of finding out all you need to know about the osition to which you are applyng. Research is pertinent and networking is priceless. Through networking with you prospective department you will find out what you need to know for the interviews ahead. My interview was very technical in nature and there is no way to know much of the info unless you've already contacted that department. YOU BETTER NOT BE GOOD AT ANYTHING UNLESS YOU ARE GOOD AT GETTING THE RIGHT ANSWERS FROM THE PEOPLE WHO ARE CURRENTLY IN THE POSITION TO WHICH YOU ARE APPLYING OR WHO ONCE HELD THAT SAME POSITION. DO NOT BE TOO SHY TO CONDUCT AN INFORMATIONAL INTERVIEW ON SOMEON IN THAT DEPARTMENT.
