My condolences to anyone who had losses with our megastorm Sandy.
Wanted to share a sad story about the way con-ed treats its employees.
A non-essential employee, with over ten years at con-ed, was forced to go to work the day of the hurricane. She could leave early (and drive home in wind gusting to 65 mph!) but had to use vacation time.
When is con-ed gonna smarten up and stop taking advantage of its employees??
