Ash, what position are you specifically inquiring about? GUW or Mechanic B/A?

I assume you already had your interview or your medical evaluation? After that is training/orientation then you're on your way.

Hey Freddie, I took the GUW test this month and passed, also check daily for job openings and have my GUW application in for the Bronx as well. Waiting game... Just curious when you took your GUW?
Also curious If you know after passing the test what is the sequence in which the PAT, interview, and medical exam come in?
Thanks

Chris, the best advice I can give you is ,are sure you know long division, and adding and subtracting fractions. There is a ton of that on the exam. If you're comfortable with that you can probably get by. If you wanna go above and beyond get the GED book. There's a lot of word problems and reading comprehension.

I am taking the Entrance exam next week - can anyone help me with what to study from DMV? I heard to refresh my memory on traffic signs and right of way?

Also what does the aptitude test consist of? I am pretty good at math so I hope I don't bomb!

DOes anyone know if there are examples of the test online?

Michael definitely go get a GED book! Study fractions, decimals and ratios. The aptitude portion is a lot of common sense. For the DMV part make sure you study traffic signs, which car has the right away at a 4 way stop signs, how to park on a hill...quesrions like that. The Driving part is 1st. You have to pass each section in order to move on to the next section. Each section is timed as well. Get enough rest the night before because the entire test is really long. Hope this info was helpful. I passed the test August 15 of this year. Haven't heard anything since then tho. Good Luck

I'm applying for the OM-A L1. Can anyone tell me what I'll be up against. I have read majority of the posts but I'm not sure if I have to do a driving test or climb a pole. I'm taking the test 2nd week in March.
