i'll keep it simple;;;; when the hell are people going to really think about CONSERVING electricity??? this is half of our problem. some day, there will be no electricity---no puters, etc...... they rammed it into our heads in the 70's to conserve. but what is this .com generation doing? they need more and more. good luck

That's really not fair to blame the youth entirely when they are taught the same lessons. "don't litter", "use roll on deoderant" "don't leave the water running in the sink" "turn out the lights in a room if you're not in it". You can blame the .com generation or you can place the blame where it belongs, squarely on everyone. Everyone needs more and more and more. It's a constant Smith vs. Jones. "oh The Jones's have air conditioners in every bedroom huh" says Mrs. Smith, "well, we'll have central air installed". It goes on and on and on and there's no one generation to blame. Every generation has their needs.
