French court fines eBay over counterfeit goods: lawyer - Yahoo! News
The ruling, which marks a first in France , found eBay directly responsible for the sale on its website of three Hermes bags including two fakes, for a total of 3,000 euros.

All day long I see blatantly fake L.A.M.B. and fake Juicy Couture on eBay, so I guess the company didn't learn its lesson with this ruling.
