I can't believe that a bunch of judges and attorneys are supporting this liar. I don't have a problem with anyone being represented during a trial but there is no way that I would help a person that continues to lie even after her or she is caught with their pants down.
It is BEYOND belief !!

I would like part of Beatty's and kwames punishment to be paying back all of the 8-9 million he cost the city in the lawsuit from the officers.

He truly does not care about Detroit. Did you see his mug shot. He looks smug in that picture too! I am sure his mother and father are pulling major strings as well. Thats why he thinks he can get away with every thing. Mommy and daddy always got him out of trouble instead of facing the consequences!

All his "clergy support" say pray for the mayor and his family. HELL NO! I will pray for the City of Detroit and all the people he has screwed over the years. What a Total Thug. If Detroit can't see it now then I'm about done supporting them.

Hi Linda,
This brouhaha is not about his affair per se. He's an attorney and certainly must realize the penalty for lying under oath is perjury.
The crux of the matter is high ranking police officers were let go - they sued - the Mayor said he'd contest their win - quite abruptly the Mayor backed down and those men were awarded over 8 MILLION dollars.
The police officers that were let go were investigating the Mayor and his 'lady'...she worked for him. The woman, Christine, is a law student so she too would know the penalty for lying under oath.
It goes from there......really is convoluted.
This is not truly about an affair - I mean, who cares where he puts 'Mr. Wiggles'.
I understand exactly what your are saying. So why are there so many people on his side. I know he is innocent until proven guilty but if in fact, which it looks like they had an affair and they lied then they committed perjury. Just because people are well liked does not mean they can get away with breaking the law.
