Should have stayed with Allegheny Power. Your rates would be lower right now!

Because i am using less energy I am being charged more. This is so brilliant. Blah, Blah Blah about global warming. making energy cost more because i am conserving is just stupid. i should be getting a reward because i am using less not a penalty. I am on a fixed income and this hurts a lot. it means the difference in the amount of disposable income i have to boost the economy and to make my life better.

I have to agree with TOO BAD. My electric bill with alleghany for 3000kwh was $200. My bill with the boro is 400 they keep telling people they are cheaper they are a lying. They also keep telling me thaty we can go to another power comapny and all the other power companys kepp telling they will not take us because we live in the boro. If I woudl have know this I would have never bought a house in the boro. U live in LEarn Any one want to buy a 4 bedroom house?

Don't use electric heat. Construct a stone oven in your house and burn wood. When you build it, leave the top open the flame have room to breath.

I don't know about anyone else but, My bill went from $85.00 last year to $140.00 so far this year. I even installed a pellet stove. I guess that I'll hap to take the stove rebate, to pay my electric bill! You just can't get ahead...
