Worker killed in gas line explosion on Zug Island near Detroit

A contract worker was killed and four others were taken to the hospital for observation after a gas pipeline leading to a blast furnace exploded on an industrial island just south of Detroit. via WSBT

Damn shame! I seen the aftermath, god bless he and his family. Hard enough to make a living doing what we do, let alone the dangers we face in these work enviroments.

I wonder if John Armstrong would be concerned about the buildings and making steal if it was his son. The way the mans speaks I think so.

My father worked on Zug Island many years ago...makes me appreciate all I have and how it was earned. My heartfelt prayers for the families of this horrible accident.
