Time to Rethink Old Ways

The system looks like it doesn't work anymore. Households need to start becoming less dependant on the grid. Buckminster use to say the grid is built in reverse, we should treat each house as a generating cell feeding the grid instead of a centalized powerplant feeding power to each house. Today, technology has to be freed up and given to the people. Each house should have solar panels not to generate household power but to run an electrode to seperate hydrogen from tap water. Stored hydrogen can be placed into household fuel cell to generate ample electricy. You can also used the stored hydrogen to fuel up your own fuel cell car everyday in your own garage. You would take the pressure off of the grid, never have to stop at a gas station again and the air would get cleaner during the process. We would have sustaining energy as long as the sun is burning.
