I guess the fires during the 1967 riots were not a natual disaster either. And the ones that followed each year after during devils night.

Detroit has a lot of room to complain.

Strange numbers are being reported. Only 29 of the 85 homes that burned Tuesday were occupied. On a normal night they average 35 fires. If they had responded quickly to the original fire calls, the fires would not have spread to all the other houses. Maybe the fire department did drop the ball in terms of organizing the response to calls. For example, they all run to the east side and perhaps over-respond to fires there leaving nothing to respond to a west side fire and the chase goes on all night.

However, many of those roaches move to the suburbs.
Now they are complaining that the whites are trying to take back the city. That may end up happening if that becomes the only place available without roaches.

That is the only way Detroit will ever recover is if whites take over.

Mel Farr-Super Star was quite successful in the auto retailing business until the market turned down. When he started, he hired all black managers and most sales personnel. He was losing his investment until he wised up and reversed the process to hire more capable employees rather than race based. I have heard many blacks express exactly the same thing on black talk radio WCHB. Callers will say, "We've had our chance. Now we need somebody that can run things." Of course there are always those who are willing to go down with the ship as long as the "gubment" is willing to support everything.
