Mason County issues state of emergency

Storms Thursday night and Friday came as utility crews worked to restore electrical service to customers in the southern Lower Peninsula who had been without service following storms over the past week. Full Story

The pictures and stories I've seen are just awsome, how devastating for the people of that area, I don't ever recall seeing such damage from flooding in that area, I do remember the river flooding in Scottville and Custer when I was attending highschool in Custer in the late '70's, but nothing like this. I will pray for those affected that they recieve some sort of relief, may God bless them with a quick recovery from the devastation.
