I have experienced first hand the racism at Amdocs. I still work there, though if the economy were better... but I digress.
First and foremost, the VAST majority of the Indians I have worked with are incompetent at best. That being said, there are a few who are certifiable as pure geniuses. As for their work ethic - it's pathetic. Most of them come in to work between 1000 and 1100, go to lunch from 1230-1400, take tea from 1400-1500, and go home around 1600. And I have seen on numerous occasions problems we're having at work posted on the internet requesting someone to email a solution. Cockroaches are cheap... just leave some food out and you'll have millions of them before you know it. |

So...employees in India are incompetent, don't follow process etc. Can someone explain why Amdocs and other companies flock to India and other Asian countries to out-source work? And how it is that their business runs in this economy? Surely if nothing good comes from those countries, business would be dead. It's simple. They have the knowledge and capacity and, they produce output that makes them a cheaper, viable solution to expensive staffing in the US. Complain to the Department of labor. If you have facts to backup your claims of favoritism and nepotism. Those are serious allegations. You do have faith in your government don't you? Or are you going to claim that the Indian goverment is somehow manipulating the US Dept. of Labor? Get real people. Everything in this country is made in China. Most of you will rant here and then go over to walmart and stock your cart with foreign goods. Because you're cheap. And that is what it's all about. You want cheap rate phones, rate plans, free minutes....business need to cut costs to make that happen. If you don't get that, you shouldn't even be working at Amdocs. No company is perfect. Some Americans are as racist as it gets. Stop pretending like we're saints. |

I totally agree, Amdocs is very discriminative...I worked thereand I wa sranked as the top most employee when it comes to having relationships with the clinet and getting the work done. Even the VP's would come and tell me how happy the clinet is...but guess what some internal Jews and Indians (who didnt like me ) kept on giving bad eviews which I protested. The indian guy was suppose to correct it and report to HR yet he didnt do anything and when I protested they let me go...Most Indians and jews are quite incompetent..(they can't even seak English) They laid me off...!!This is the worst experience I ever had..!!!
Working with white people is much better |

It's no fun working for Amdocs anymore since it's all about India and not anymore about real local team work. I was not sad when they fired me.
