Injured employees from Dollar General

Have you suffered an injury while working at Dollar General? Have you been denied medical treatment? Has your GM or DM tried to over look the injury?
I would like to hear your story. I think it's time for DG to face up to their responcablities. Let me hear from you and I will do everything in my power to stop their incompassionate behavior. They have ignored their injured ex employees to long. And gotten away with some terrible misdeeds.
Please respond to this forum. I am only one voice. They need to hear from the multitude. Only in numbers can we get something done.
I am in a position to help. I have an attorney who will listen.
Please help me get DG to understand that ignoring their employees' pain will no longer be tolerated.

i have put my comments on the other postings to no avail ,and yes I was forced to work open to close under drs strict restrictions that were put on paper when given to my dm he satated i had already cost the district in payroll due to bieng put on bed rest I was ordered back to work alone on the 2nd morn back i called my regional and complained only tp have my dm and loss prevention show up later that day and i could admit i was doing fraudelant refunds and resign or be arrested i chose to walk out thinking they were trying to scare me into quitting instead i recieved a call from my keyholder that 2 hrs after i left they had called police and issued a warrent, for my arrest i spoke to an attorney who said i could fight it and go to trial but would cost up to 5000.00 or plea which i refused to do as i have a mountain of documents from my store to show my status as a near model store etc. I am a 50 year old grandmother that has never even had a ticket yet i find myself terrified to walk out the door, i am permenantly disabled with my lumbar 1,2,3,4,5 bieng crushed bone to bone my mri from 2008 shows 1 lumbar messed up then by 2010 after bieng with dg my mri showed the rest of the damage that at been done which is why i was put on med leave. I know it was not just convienant that 2 days after coming back and me filing a complaint that i was acused of this, i can not continue with this fear of bieng arrested for something i can prove did not happen but there is no way a judge will believe that dg would go this far to avoid paying for workmans comp or unemployent. do i continue to suffer or how can i find an attorney to prove im innocent and then file a wrongful term lawsuit, any answers would be appreciated and yes i have a ton of documentation that shows on my monthly reviews how well my store was doing ,where i went from needs improvement to near model and then to have copies of the pip plans he had me on from nov on and asked me to sign and back date as he had forgotten to have me do prior when in reality when he first approached me with the pip i wrote my comments and made it clear that i had my monthly review paperwork that told a complete oppisite of what the pip was showing. he was enraged when i told him i had copies from the ctv showing things that had occured in his prescence like on 2 seperate nights he took my hrs i was forced to work in a high crime area by myself open to close and he showed up after 8 pm ,he had found a piece of gum stuck on the aisle in front of pet food and knowing i was in front alone forced me to close 30 min early and spend close to 5 hrs on my hands and knees scrubbing every inch uf the floors with a tile scraper , while i wept and begged him to let me leave the punishment continued till 130 am and only when he was satisfied did i get to go home these type of things occured in our stores on a reg basis and yes in full view of the cameras. the schedules show i was alone open to close on alot af occasions . in our district if we complained to the regional our dm would be in our stores within a few hrs to discuss why we were not allowed to go to micheal , i have never forgotten the nights me and my asst would scurry like rats as our regional would stand in the front of our store and yell at us in the back I was treated like an animall and i can assure you my prior 2 employers would witness that i was there very best and did whatever i was told. dg has deystroyed me what am i to do email@example.com
