Deere & Co. to invest $180M in plant expansions
Deere & Co. said Thursday it will invest nearly $180 million in U.S. and Brazil plant expansions to meet rising global demand for its tractors and other farm machinery.

"The expansions come amid high prices for crops driven by rising wealth in nations like China and India that has lifted food demand, as well as extreme weather that has hurt yields around the globe. Although grain prices have tapered recently, they remain elevated following a two-year surge."
