Though I keep hearing Obama bash the health insurance companies, I 'follow the money' of this bill and can't help but think how insurance companies are going to make a killing because A. the taxpayer is paying for millions of new customers and B. their business model is to make a percent profit above expenses. Expenses keep growing, number of customers grows, their absolute profits skyrocket.

I am really beginning to think that Obama is bashing insurance companies to divert our focus from the actual scenario, the biggest giveaway to insurance companies ever. Thoughts?

But that would mean the bill WASN'T socialist... Try to convince people that.

The bill was just another example of how, despite people going on about how "How powerful government is" against a bunch of united Corporations, the Government is patheticly weak against the power of the Lobbyist.

That's why the longer the bill went on the more favorable to the Insurance industry it got. Day after day of the Insurance industry trying to bribe them, blackmail them, or what not, they bowed down to them.
