Too bad they had to lose it after all their work & money put into it. What a letdown.!

Are our banking and financial istitutions this clueless and out of touch with reality? It is quite obvious there hasn't been $2 million dollars spent on the John Deere home. This is a classic case of take the money and run, while no one is overseeing the renovation. I have personally seen Roger Colmark spend over $200,000 on John Deere signs and collectibles at one auction in Moline, IL. This is just one of many instances I have seen or directly heard about. Let's think about this, hundreds and hundreds of thousand dollars in unsecured personal property, hidden where?, and the bank is forclosing on a property he has $100 invested in of his own money. I guess I have a hard time feeling sorry for either party involved. I am somewhat of Deere collector and enthusiast myself, which is why it's too bad some of rarest and best collectibles are in the hands of a scam artist.

When I worked at KSTT back in 1980, I rented a one bedroom apartment in that home. It was cheap, quiet, and had mice.
