Taser victim moved from Akron General

The former inmate who was shot with a Taser at the Summit County Jail about a week ago has been moved from Akron General Medical Center to a mental health facility, a family attorney said Monday.

well, i guess that says it all since agmc has a mental health unit. they can't handle him so he's probably gone to northcoast behavior or heartland in massillon.

This is a confusing story. I thought someone posted that he was released last Friday and that his mother refused to let him in her house. He probably doesn't belong at his mother's house anyway. I hope he gets the treatment he deserves this time.

"He may have been hit in the back of the head with a flashlight,'' Sipplen said.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Christine Croce called the flashlight allegation ''completely untrue'' and said deputies at the jail ''don't even carry flashlights.''

Dillard has told investigators that he doesn't remember anything from the Feb. 21 incident, Croce said. He asked during an interview with authorities if he hurt the two deputies involved, she said."
