My sources tell me Fiat has been in our Minivan plant now and has some new plans. I have personally seen some of the the Fiat diesel engines.

If your plant did not suck so bad, then you would not have lost the minivan, Volkswagan would not insist on not working with your plant and they may have decided to put the journey in your plant-wich was the plan before it was yanked!

Go into bankruptcy or not, our plant will be around. You cannot even say that about your truck plant

Mike #1 called Mike #2 a dick, and you know what, I think Mike #1 is right. Fiat may have been in your plant, but it does not matter, the current administration told Chrysler they have 30 days to form an alliance with Fiat. If they form an alliance, they will give Chrysler up to 6 billion dollars. Now pay real close attention to what I am about to say next. The Obama administration told Chrysler and the whole country for that matter, that the jobs had to stay in America. Now you might have to get out your hooked on phonics books to comprehend what you just read, but I trust you will get it.

Some canadians can't tell the difference between idled talks and ratification so they might not be able to understand this either.

Canada has pledged 3 billion to Chrysler if the deal goes through. Maybe you should watch Obama's speech again, because he actually mentions working together with the Canadian government regarding the auto industry.
CAW talks broke off because it became apparent that they weren't dealing with normal negotiations.
Why bargain when you don't even know if the company can stay in business. The union will continue talking if and when the time is right.
By the way Fiat has been to Windsor twice.

No one gives a crap if you don't like Obama dude. You're a Canadian.
You seem to forget that this is a Chrysler forum.
Most of us work on the line and many are skilled trades, including me.
Are you disabled because most adults would not take my posts as a put down, but rather someone just giving an opinion.
Pray for yourself dude.

Facts are stubborn things PBX:
The Dodge Grand Caravan, Chryslerís best selling vehicle in Canada, experienced its best March ever, with sales of 3,775 units, a year to year increase of 4% and a 35% gain from last month.

In March, the 2006 Dodge Caravan/Grand Caravan captured the top spot in the van segment in the J.D. Power and Associates 2009 Vehicle Dependability Study. The Caravan posted perfect scores in the study in three categories: overall, body and interior and features and accessories

Not to mention the electric minivans they are talking about building

Remember this the next time you put out poor quality and are known around the company as hard to work with and sabotagers

Chrysler unveiled plans for its ENVI line of electric vehicles this year at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. It features electric versions of the Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Patriot, and*** Chrysler Town & Country***, as well as Chrysler's 200C concept vehicle and the Dodge Circuit EV Concept

I am working on get this van on line, plus I have worked to extend the engine line for FIAT Diesels

SO yeah I am a little optimistic- good quality and dedication pays off.

St. Louis can learn from this and if ever given a second chance can do things right

Wowsers! 3775 units... or enough vehicles to keep two shifts in St. Louis in production for a whopping 3 days.

Talk about an irrelevant market.
