I would like to know how you can actually live with yourselves knowing that the majority of your staff are untrained and more corrupt than the inmates you house. You people need to take a closer look at how you run these jails. My daughters dad died in one of your jails and a month later another man died. My daughters dad had been being beeten for 3 days prior to his soposed suicide. I know my daughters father he was my best friend in life and he would never have killed himself. But to cover of the neglect on the part of your corrupt officers you staged a suicide. I will get to the truth and it will be told nationwide, so get ready. I think and feel that CCA should be shut down and run out of all the jails and prisons. You have no place in this system! I have worked in the prison industries as an officer for several years and you shame the prison system!!!

why is it that. when a jail or prison intakes and releases 18,000 new residents a year. i Dont ever hear anybody saying anything good, but somebody takes their own life. let's find somebody to blame when the police arrests the drug dealer next door to your family with kids. it's not good job but why did they have to break the door. you have correction officer that work 16 hours days to protect the families that are doing right by societies standards. these correction officers put their lives on the line trying their best to make sure that residents stay facilitated behind bars. no matter whom run these facilities the public will always find fault in that company CCA, local sheriff's department or whom ever. the ones that criticize thesis company are usually the ones that has done something wrong and have been placed into one facilities that they so love to criticize i guess it would be best to just let all those kills, sex offenders, drug dealers back in your neighbor hood near your kid and your families since they are doing such a bad job

I can only say this it was there time to go and if you ever worked in a prison you know how things are also if they wouldn't have been in prison in the first place then it wouldn't have happened.

Untrained, maybe, but corrupt...prove it.
Sorry 'bout yo' baby daddy. I have a question (since you are a high speed, super-duper GOVERNMENT correctional officer); do most of your female co-workers have children with felons? It seems like breeding with convicts might make you more open to corruption, that's all. Did you meet this man while he was locked up in your facility? Is that where you conceived your children? Does this make you unusual? Do a lot of your co-workers call you an "inmate lover" because your baby daddy is a con? |

Gee, I also worked the field both public and private. The only problem I see ,Rhonda, after almost ten years experience is a shift towards thug sympathy among some in the public, and some in the field. Yes there are dirty officers, including a portion of lovesick idiots who have the need to grab a boyfriend from these facilities.

CADC GUY is demonstrating some insight. Fairly articulate, as well. Do me a favor, Guy: Read "Isolated Incidents: Reflections of a Correctional Officer," by Kevin L. Thomas. Available at www.Amazon.com . Then tell me how a super-cop CO could have ended up so deranged at the end of an eight-year tenure. I'll get contact info to you later. |

OK, G., you're a fairly articulate, insightful veteran of the DOC. Please, read "Isolated Incidents: Reflections of a Correctional Officer," by Kevin L. Thomas, available at www.Amazon.com . Then tell me how it was that he, a first-rate CO, went mad after eight years. We'll make contact, later |
