Four former Florida inmates say human waste was put in their food

This goes on in every prison even in Canada. This is not a part of rehabilitation in any form. I find that corrections officers are very judgemental and demeaning people. They have overstepped the boundaries of their jobs and should be fired.....simple. Corrections and the law are two completely different aspects of life. Once incarcerated as your form of punishment by the law, corrections takes over and punishes you more by evil actions of guards. How f&*king sick is this? What bastards. I hope the inmates win.

If you beleive that then you are the sick one. These inmates are just looking for $$$$$$$$$$. They are not the best citzens. Once a inmate always a inmate. Always looking for the con.....
Why do they call it human waste? Why don't they use to fertilize something...
Yeah! Unless you are really big man who can whip everyone's ass.... then the guards don't mess with you. |
With an attitude like that you musy have been in jail or prision at one time in your life. You sound just like an inmate,,,cry, cry, Lie, Lie. Once a Con always a Con.

it's disgusting the disrespect both prisoners and correctional staff suffer daily.
FYI I am a prison wife that understands the need for law and order, appreciates it- but would whup an ass in front of me for talking about inmates the way Rat just did. that ignorance makes it even more difficult for CO's and LEO's to do their job. it's antagonizing and invites retalitation. |

Tha facts are the facts.................

We put criminals in jail to be rehabilitated, or to be punished, or to protect ourselves from them; to site the three major opinions on incarceration. But we do not put them in to be poisoned. THIS WAS A CRIME, SIMPLE, AND NASTY. It deserves a thorough investigation and felony charges. |
The felony charges will hit the lying inmates, thats what all this is about. Then I'll have to tell all of you others out there I WAS RIGHT!!!!!

Obviously rat is a corrections officer at cca, his little comment of "once an inmate always an inmate." is the mantra of cca staff.
The slogans used to train cca staff have to be exceedingly simple as cca hires the absolute dregs of local unemployment and work force commissions. On cca facilities the inmates control the facility, the cca staff merely negotiate with the inmates for some small measures of at least a facade of control. The average grunt like rat is paid a meger $9.50 per hour starting with little more to look forward to. The guards who stay with cca make their living bringing drugs, cell phones and other contraband to the inmates for significant amounts of cash. Yes you read right cash, paid usually outside the facility by cohorts or families of the inmates, but occasionaly directly in the facilities. And occasionally the cca staff will engage in sexual affairs with the inmates, adding another avenue for contraband or even FIREARMS to enter prison facilities. Bottomline: cca staff on average(but I will admit not always) are about as good of people as the people they have charge over. And oh yeah, to beat rat to the punch, I was one of those "despicable" inmates. Some people really belong in prison, I will be the first to defend that truth, but another equally potent truth is no prisoner should be treated with such sick actions. If society accepts such behaviour from its jailers, then that society not only takes on the sin of its maltreatment, but also the sins of its inmates. |

Concernedobserver is a person that lives in a hole. He was an inmates as he states, but he still sounds like one and if given the chance to would proably rob you blind, rape you, or even kill you. Thats the mentally of such an indivual. CCA sucks, your right, but that does not change the scum of the earth that are behind bars and should rot there. Mike knows and supports locking then up and throwing away the key. Inmates are nothing but S#$*.
Well rat, to help you understand I'll use small words and "pithy" phrases so as not to overburden your already taxed mental ability. It takes a criminal to truly know a criminal, and you sir can be described as having a criminal mind. Continue your discourse of inhumanity and cruelty, and I'm sure you'll find yourself right at home and comfortable with your new official title: OFFENDER #1??????? I'm also sure you'll find company more your style at that point as well, mostly among the piriahas of prisons, child molesters, as they too prey on those under their charge. |

They said they had to eat chit or starve?? I can't believe it was in EVERYTHING. So they ate it??????? lmaorotf!!!!!!!!!!
Oh well, no new posts the last few days. I guess RATs run away when the light of truth is turned on. HAHAHAHAH!!
Yea..maybe even rats don't like eating chit! |

I just found this website and I'm sure I'll enjoy it. I am a professional corrections officer, on my way up to be a Warden or higher in the CCA company. I worked for CCA in the the early to mid 90's, and I found the company to be very professionally ran. Yes, there are problems there, but with people like me in charge, a lot of these problems will be addressed and put to rest. Inmates are sent to jail as punishment, not for punishment. If CO's did put feces in inmates food, and this is proven to be a fact and not just another hoax by those we're charged with, then those CO's MUST be fired and never be allowed work in the field again. I have many years of experience in this field, so I know that many times inmates are just looking for $$$, but there still must be an investigation into the whole matter. CCA is a quality organization, but there is always room for improvement. CCA has the same problems that city, county, state and federal ran facilities have, but CCA has the ability to change many problems now, and doesn't have all the "red tape" that the others have.
Another argument I've seen over and over again is those who think it's immoral to "Profit" from incarcerating people, that this should only be done by government agencies....my question is, why? Don't doctors profit from serving thier patients? Are they accused of making the person more sick so that they can make more $$$? No, they aren't. I'm sure there are some unsavory doctors out there that do this, but they are the exception, not the rule. The same goes for private corrections. The majority of CCA's staff are professionals that simply want to do thier jobs the best that they can. It's up to those in charge to see that they are trained well and follow the rules to the "t". Thanks for the opportunity to say a little about how I feel. Comments? |

The public has to understand what goes on inside from a CO point of view, not from the press, news or inmate as it is distorted. Life inside is not all cherries, far be from that. Inmates have hard time as do CO and admin. staff. It is the same public or private. Working inside a 700 inmate population faccility, guess what, all are innocent and have been framed, can you really believe that or justice system is so wrong that we are locking up all innocent people, are the police that stupid? Give me a break! As I have said all along, once an inmate always a inmate. Thats just the way it is. I have seem professional get locked up for stupid stuff, but once inside they all turn into inmates and play the game.

I'm white, and I don't like it. Hey RAT-- is it true you are a chickensh*t coward who hides under sheets? Are you one of those cowards who support the traitorous 'CSA' who turned coat on their oaths to protect the Constitution, and rebelled to uphold human bondage? |
