People do not realize that LP can monitor all conversations within the store. My hiring manager informed of that 8 years ago, so please be careful.

There is no way that LP can monitor all conversations within a store. Heck only 1/3 of the security camera bubbles in the ceilings have cameras. For example in a store built prior to 2007, the bubbles in the office, and stock room are fake. As for the front of the store, there is a camera over the front checkout, cos, and photo. All of pharmacy's cameras are there though.

bogus termination wrote: We have a pharmacy manager that was in a law suit, which Walgreens paid for, discrimination against a gay fellow, and She just did is miss-fill ie. filling script with wrong med and so customer, tho no harm was done, is suing Walgreens. She is a good friend of mine and is sweating her position with Walgreens. Truth is they will keep her as long as they need her but 3 yrs from now can use it for termination. She is a basket case with all the pharmacy cuts being made. None of us have job security. Have the pharmacy manager contact ma @ leroyjacobs@mail.com Thanks,Leroy

I know many will find that stupid but I'm not paying back $1180.00! It was not my fault they awarded it then than wants it back. I guess they put a lien on your home if you don't pay. Anyone know?

You need to pay it back...$5.00 a month sounds good and it is legal.

I quit Walgreens, applied for unemployment, stated my case and issue with store manager, awarded unemployment, than had phone court with judge, S.M.,D.M and someone else. They lied. I am a shareholder as well, and I am raising hell with corp. about everything. HELLO!! Anyone that owns stock is entitled to opinion, right or wrong. I am also drunk right now so anything I say can't be held against me! Happy holidays to everyone!!

The only way for WAG to get money back is for them to send an appeal to the appeals court and have the case heard there...were you notified of an appeal by Walgreens?

There are different appeals courts, one to contest, one to get overpayment, etc. You almost need to be an attorney to understand the legal b.s. Bottom line, I was awarded and paid unemployment for about 6 weeks, Walgreens contested, they won and I now have to pay back money.I know I could make $5.00 per month payments but since I have raised hell with every department of company I might as well wait and see what happens. Thanks to everyone and I really hope those of you that still works for Walgreens gets the respect and recognition you deserve. For the record I loved my job. Things just went terribly wrong.
