Airport a 'ghost town' after Delta cuts

Nov 8, 2010 Full story: Kypost.Com 9

HEBRON, Ky. - One analyst called the loss of more than 400 daily flights at The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport "death by a thousand cuts." Delta began with a 26-percent reduction in service at CVG in December 2005 -- the same month the airport opened its brand-new $241 million runway.

This turn of events at CVG is fine with me. Delta and their trained apes at Comair deserve the go out of business or go bankrupt, again, because for years the prices they charged to fly in and out of CVG made CVG the highest cost airport in the nation.
After reading the story I wonder why the airport management at CVG have not been replaced yet for all the poor decisions they made and the taxpayer dollars they have wasted, and the worst part is, the story didn't even mention the monet CVG wasted on the facility they built for DHL which sat empty for years and now is only using 50% of its capacity.

All the Negros have gone to work for the TSA at CVG.
You would have thought you just landed in Zimabawe.

the inexperienced traveler continues to buy into the security theatre performed by the TSA. We're buying million dollar "nude" xray machines that will be in the scrap heap in a few years but the public doesn't seem to care. I guess taxes aren't high enough.

They need those nude machines so the TSA can actually see what the opposite sex looks like.

It is about time,
CVG charges the highest landing fees of any airport in the country
More the JFK ATL LAX ORD. On and on. They held up Delta for years.
I'm so glad they are moving out of that airport. Serves them right for charging so much and giving so little
