Cummins has turned the corner and has started down the road of European-style liberalism in support of what they are calling "spectrum-diversity" . Employees are REQUIRED to be accepting of the Gay, Lesbian, Transgender "Affinity Groups"; this without regard to their own personal beliefs. They also force / expect employees to perform community service as a part of their employment. No Thank You. I will decide my own charitable activities, time and place. I don't need the government or any corporation infringing on my liberties - no matter how well intended. Employees can select to be a member of a number of company "Affinity-Groups". Many are geared toward race, color, or sexual practices. None are gear toward "White Christian Morality".

I worked for Cummins for almost twenty years. The last 5 were under the regime of spectrum diversity and code of conduct. These initiatives are well intentioned but used by senior management in a form of reverse discrimination. For years I was told to apply for a type of role. When my children left home I applied as it did require travel. Even before the interviews were held I was told I would not get it as some else had applied. That other person got the job and it was a female who was being personally mentored by a senior female executive. How could they have they made the decision before any interviews were held? The successful applicant had little experience but ticked the box for getting more females into senior roles. I then saw my manager subjected to an interrogation over a supposed code of connect breach. My manager was stood down for two months, had his whole life disrupted, lost a huge amount of weight and had his personal integrity challenged. The investigating officer was a mid 20s female HR person with no legal training. At the end of the investigation the allegations were found unproved and he was allowed to return to work albeit with a written warning because his actions caused suspicion. The was no support for him and his family and definitely no apology. This is from a company which actively encourages cross dressers and transexuals to join them. If I were looking for employment of or wanting to buy an engine I would steer clear of Cummins.
