ACCERT, isn't that CAT'S answer to pollution, thats short for "ain't certified". CAT has been a very good tool for selling the Cummins Engines that meet and exceed all emmision laws. In fact the Cummins engine already meets and exceeds the 2010 Laws for pollution and Cats boat anchor of an engine is still trying to pass the 2007 laws. Get your facts straight PeoriaAlthough some Cummins Engines meet or exceed EPA regulations they don't tell you about the schemes they have developed with the EPA to allow some of their largest engines to pollute at levels higher than current standards required by many of the other manufacturers.....known at trading credits.

I have a 2007 BMW 320 M SPORT DIESEL (1998cc), It developed 177 bhp and 325ft tourques as standard from the factory. I have now had it chipped to 225 BHP and 360 ft touques and the average MPG figure has risen from 44.5 to 46.7, and i dont cruise, i drive the BMW like i stole it. Check out performance BMW diesels on any European BMW website. However you still cant beat a screaming gas V8 engine not only on performance but on the sound.
kind regards from the UK
