I have a problem with the Jake not Turning off when I step on the gas. It actually will knock for a split second when you step on the gas and then disengage. Any ideas where I should start looking for problems.

you probably have broken jake springs on one cylinder. unplug one wire at at time on jake head
to isolate which head is acting up. Remove valveremove round dome with snap ring and you will find 2 springs. just replace. very simple fix.
