Cummins actually layed off 215 people and gave 85 people with lowest seniority better jobs at other Cummins plants while higher seniority second shifters were forced to third shift. And now are being forced to bid on jobs on third shift in order to stay in their home departments. Its a bad situation all around.

They were interviewing for people just a few months ago. Glad I didn't take a job there. Though that strikes me as incredibly irresponsible , to try and lure new people in. I find it difficult to beleive that they would not have two clues to rub together and KNOW that they'd be letting folks go.
