I have a Mariner 37 pilothouse cruiser and am considering increasing the hp of its Cummins engine to 330 hp. it is a full displacement hull. It now cruises at 8 knots. The manufacturer offers this boat with either the 220 or 330. The same shaft is used with either engine. I will appreciate hearing from anyone advising me about pros and cons of making this conversion. Thank you.
