It you were to look back a few weeks ago, Arison stated that cruise lines, while not recession "proof" are recession "resistant" and that American's will not give up their vacations. Believe me, if this country goes into a deep recession, cruise vacations will be the first thing to go. I'm not sure how many families would give up $4000 for a weeks vacation when their economic outlook is poor.

I just got off a cruse in the beginning of Feb.the ship was packed. I fail to see a recession at all.
Also the surge charge for gas,was refunded to us when the gas prices went down.I will go on vacation,no matter what.I work hard all year and I will go on a vacation! |
