Sugared soft drinks on the way out

ok- if you take a survey you know that 60% of todays youth is at least 25 pounds or higher over their required weight per there age.AS I have commented before and to drill this in-yes it is a good thing to replace coke with diet coke and fanta orange with minute maid orange and to get more dasani and powerade into the machines- but the beverage industry especially, coca cola, is not to blame. It is the parents of the children and the health advocates who spend more time concerning themselves with nutrition and not activity!! get your kids active with sports and outside play, parents!!! get todays youth excited about acivities other than that of picking up a handcontroller and playing for a four hour period, health advocates!!! nutirition is a start but excercise is the answer!!!!

I AGREE 100% I AM IN THE PROCESS OF TAKING AWAY ALL SODAS FROM MYSELF, HUBBY AND KIDS. ITS HARD BECAUSE IT IS ADDICTIVE BUT I AM HANGING IN THERE. I WAS DRINKING A CASE OF PEPSI A DAY THEN I STARTED ON COKE THINKING LESS SUGAR WOULD BE BETTER, BUT I STARTED TO NOTICE SMALL LUMPS IN MY BREASTS WHICH WAS A CONCERN WHEN I WENT TO THE DOCTOR THEY TOLD ME THEY SEE THESE IN WOMEN AND MEN ALIKE, THEY ARE CAUSED BY TOO MUCH CAFFINE, EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE NOT HEALTH THREATNING THEY CAN BECOME QUITE SORE AND PAINFUL AT TIMES THEY ALSO TOLD ME IF I REDUCED OR QUIT CAFFINE THEY WOULD GO AWAY.
