WASHINGTON: The hopes of Enron investors are riding on a U.S. Supreme Court case that may be the last chance at compensation for their losses when the scandal-ridden energy company collapsed.

this crime is so depressing,how could the gov. watchdogs allow this, wasn't the savings & loan collapse criminal enough? congress should be accountable, as well as the gov. agents.

EVERYONE who was engaged in fraud of any kind,
should be held accountable. Third parties knew
what was transpiring and deliberately engaged in
wrongdoing to "profit" at the expense of the shareholders.

The investors should be able to sue all those who were knowingly involved in this fraud. Screw the banks and their phoney claim that America would collapse without them.
