FBI probes counterfeit China computer parts
The FBI on Friday said an investigation into the sale of counterfeit Chinese computer components to the U.S. government has recovered about 3,500 bogus devices with a retail value of $3.5 million.

I think that at this point and time the FBI's efforts would be better put to use in assisting ICE in tracking down some of these illegals.
3.5 million in fake parts vs 2.2 trillion in annual illegal costs. Not to mention the things you can't put a price on like child-rapes or any rape at that matter, homicides, drunk drivers, kidnappers, home invaders, thieves, gang-bangers, etc ... Check out the California's Most Wanted where only 68 of the 72 most wanted individuals are illegal immigrants from mexico. http://ag.ca.gov/wanted/wanted_results.php We have a problem alright, but it ain't a few cheap knock-off parts from China. |
