New management is not always a good thing. Peters-Revington Furniture is/was some of the finest furniture you could buy. Made by workers who cared about the kind of job they did and what kind of products they provided.

I hope that everyone thinks of this during the next election and does not buy into our govenor's attempts to convince everyone of all he has done to save and create jobs. This place has been open for years... I am ready for our government to put a stop to our jobs going over seas!

WHY LEAVE 35 JOBS, TAKE THE TRASHY
FURNITURE AND THE 35 JOBS TO 'ASIA'
IF ANY AMERICAN BUYS IT THEY ARE STUPID!

BUT THE STUPID AMERICANS WILL GET ON THERE KNEE'S ONCE AGAIN, AND BACK
THIS ANTI-AMERICAN COMPANY!

WAKE UP AMERICANS, GET YOUR HEADS
OUT OF YOUR BEHINDS AND PUT THEM BACK
ON YOUR SHOULDERS BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!

In today's globalized economy, furniture workers are just one rung on the ladder of skilled workers. Being an American does not automatically entitle you to magical hands that create a better product. Nor does it absolve companies from responding to pricing, labor, and other external pressures.

This HURTS! My dad worked at Globe Valve....he'd worked their 23 years and when they closed the delphi plant he was left high and dry without a job and NO retirement money....he's been looking for a job since then but nothing lasts. NOW THIS! My mom works at Peter's and Revington and now she's gonna lose her job! With both of them being in their late 50's it's gonna be VERY hard for them to find a new job and it just upsets me to see my parents having such a hard time....

To Sad Daughter.
I also lost a job when Globe Valve closed, and knew everybody there. I'm sorry that your mom is also soon to be out of work. Maybe if the management at Indiana Packers would stop hiring illegals over local residents, Delphi would be in a better position. That place needs another INS raid.
