CPI loss widens in Q3
CPI Corp. said Tuesday its loss in the third quarter grew to $7.7 million, compared with a loss of $6.8 million a year earlier, as comparable store sales fell 10 percent.

That's because they continue to raise there prices without increasing the quality of the products we are paying money for. The photographers in my area are wonderful, but the prices are INSANE for the products you receive. The lighting is substandard, the backgrounds are pull-down some motorized but don't even cover the floor! QUIT BEING SO CHEAP and then maybe your profit will go up.

cheap? cpi corp.? no way!!! they give cheap a whole new meaning.
we are talking about CPI that owns pictureme and sears portrait studios right?
i wouldn't take my dog to any of those places for pictures.
low quailty and ZERO customer service.......
they will hire any joe blow that walks in because they can't keep people.
theres too many other good places to go for pictures without wasting hard earned money at these places.

these places suck! they are fine if you want cheesie posed pictures. and they are perfect if you want NO quality and NO customer service.
go look at their facebook page. they have so many complaints that whoever was over the page doesn't even respond anymore.
cant wait to walk into walmart and see the doors closed for good. maybe they can get a decent studio in there.
best thing to do is hire a local photographer and do naturals.

Hey i did work for both sears and picture me and u are right they do suck but not all customer service were bad i gave my all to all my customers and to this shitty ass studios for nothing all i got was a text late wed. night stating do not go in to work thurs the company went out of business ugh no professionalism what so ever gosh atleast they couldv'e warned us giving us a day or two then the customers that took pictures on easter are screwed out of thier portraits and that is not fair at all!!! so i do get ur piont! But u shouldv'e been in my shoes it was hell most of the time!

i don't have to be in your shoes. i was a customer for a long time. had the best photog you could ever find (working in a place like that anyway!!) and they treated her like sh!t after she slaved for them for something like 8 years. i would never use anybody but her. i heard a lot and i saw a lot. i actually heard a DM or RM bad mouth customers!! i overheard a RM or DM bad mouth a former employee in front of customers and other employees.........you just don't do this.
as sorry as i am to see all these people lose their jobs i have to say i am not sorry to see this place close down. they treat their customers and employees like sh!t and it's time they got a taste.
