There money you get is "tax diductable" and there accountants tell them just how much to give where it cost them nothing....You're getting someone elses money, but good on you. Oil Companies don't give away money for nothing. It cost them nothing...and they get good will. God bless them.
But then, Look at EPNG.
yep, I was thinking the same.. all tax deductible ... my old company, at the end of the year bought new equipment and donate $$ to help with paying less taxes..

Actually, charity does reduce their taxable income by 35%(roughly for argument's sake). But it costs them 65 cents on the dollar. You speak like you think givers make money by giving it away. You must be educated in a gummit skool.

But, that's the law. Would you wish they disobey the law?

Look at GE. They made billions yet paid no income taxes and Conoco/Phillips is robbing the public at their filling stations charging as much for local gas as if it were made from foreign oil.

You are miss-informed.
Conoco produces natural gas in the San Juan Basin, not the liquid gas that goes into your beater 'hoopty'. Our liquid fuel is shipped in to our isolated market.
The CEO of GE and Obama are tight and no wonder GE has gotten a pass on their liberal use of loop holes in the tax code. The great Obama is acting like a country club Republican more every day.

Jeff Imelt has be giving Lewinskis to Obamao for years. Now, he's reaping his rewards. You think this happens on accident?

CP is not robbing anyone. The "local gas" is probably made from "foreign oil". Thank Richson, Bingman, Saladzar, and Obamao for that. You must go to a gummit skool.

The only refinery in the four corners area is owned by Western. They laid off about a 100 people a year or so ago and is nothing but a ditribution center now.
Every compressor staion deals with liquids, but it is not the gas that runs your hoopty. The compressor stations is what you are miss-informed about.
Inform yourself a bit kiddo,

You mean the refinery that is closed down?? 90 percent of san juan basin production is natural gas. Not gasoline. Inform yourself before spouting off your BS.
