isin't amazing how the price of gas goes up in the spring and heating oil goes up in the fall.
now i know of the principle of supply and demand but EVERY year this happens.
we are dealing with global thieves and as consumers we can NEVER win. unless we break off our dependence on fossil fuels, then watch the prices drop FOREVER.

For sure the prices will go up even more when vacation time rolls around and people will be traveling. They sure do know how to give us consumers a royal screwing.

So sick of the oil speculating. Everyone should make an effort to reduce their own consumption, see how the investors like that.

You're right, I try like hell to consolidate all my errands in the same area, but what the hell good does it do when either way they stick it to us at the pump. Same old maneuver every year the minute spring rolls around. I think we should start charging these oil producing companies the same price for grain that they charge us for oil. They can't grow shit in those countries and they sure can't eat their oil.

Ask.com says a barrel of oil is 42 gallons/ same says a barrel of oil will result in about 19 to 20 gallons of gasoline. At $100 a barrel, a gallon of oil is over $2.00 (about $2.38)
At this rate also, a gallon of gas, before considering transportaton, refining, distribution and retail mark-up is about $5.26 per gallon. Anybody see some disparity in this?
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't have the patience to look into it.
The gas prices are rising a little every day now.$2.87 in Bridgeport. I think it will be over $3 by spring. Thank you Wall Street.

I saw $2.91 today so its headed for over $3 for sure real soon, and by vacation time, probably well over that. They never run out of ways to stick it to us.

Before you get too huffy - check your 401K - It's likely that you are one of those bad wall-streeters, investing in oil.
I checked mine and low and behold - I'm one of the bad guys!

He has a point though, if you own mixed stock options, you might be investing in oil and not realize it.

Tiny Tim, formerly James Beardsley. I hope that you used the reindeer POOP that was drop on your mommy house. Next Christmas Eve, I hope the POOP will drop on your drunken head. Have a bad Night.
