well boys and girls I can say one thing about the people who say they can take this gun from my cold dead hands, stupid. when you have a pump 12 gauge pointed at your stomach the last thing you are going to do is pull your gun out to start shouting-even a knife man will kill you first if he is near enough before you can pull that gun. I retreated and saved my life, of choice you can choose death if you so choose. a smart person makes thefastest and best choice of a situation. and survival is that choice. You better read that situation real good or your dead,

Needless to say this occurred when a man and his girl friend had a fight, When enough fire power arrived to assist on the scene the man made a wise decision he did not want to die and gave up. He had several pistols on hisself as well as the shot gun. I made the right choiceand he made the right choice-- nobody died that day. trust me, death is permanent. you don't get a retun coupon. ypu get a coffin. you family gets your insurance if you have any. true story and factual.

While I agree with you that I haven't seen stories of people with CCL's going postal one each other, the one major problem I see with this law is the fact that there would be NO LICENSING OF ANY KIND. No firearms training of any kind required. That means that any idiot could go get a gun and carry. At least with a ccl you had to learn a little something.(at least I hope so) You know as well as I do that there are certain people in this town who just don't need to have a gun close to them. I know all the arguments about the fact that..."if someone wants to commit a crime they will do it anyway". But since one person has brought up the "intimidation" argument don't you think that there will be at least a few more out there who will think "Hey if wear one I will be intimidating everyone. I can do what I want and no one will say or do anything because I have a gun on my hip." Of course there will be. And while someone else may take them out if they get stupid the problem is the idiot takes out an innocent person just because they can. Think about it this way.....How upset were you that there was NO regulation with billions of dollars going to the banks and wall street? That was just money......and you think that absolutly no regulation of firearms is a good thing? On a side note.....Your carrying a .357 for a concealed? My God!!! My S&W N frame .357 is too big to do that with. I'd have to wear a coat so heavy that I'd look like one of Sarah Palins constituants. LOL....I went with a S&W Sigma for my concealed carry.
We are Oklahomans 99% of us have been shooting Fire arms since we were 4 yrs old. It's a way of life here, so dont worry about gunsafty and training, most oklahomans have a training card in their pocket by the time they are 8, because you have to have one to hunt. so in Oklahoma we know how to Handle our weapons, worry about some yankee place.
