I work in the Terminal Island area and saw, took photos of massive, thick and heavy smoke for a long period of time. The photo in this write up did not show that. We know flare ups are necessary to vent the system but aftertreatments should be in place in the smoke / flare stack to abate these tons of pollutants.
Where can we post photos?

You me that big black cloud of god knows what coming out of that stack wasn't emitting carcinogens into the air that we breathe? Highly undoubtful.

Huge plumes of black, burnt petrochemicals, and the refinery spokesman has the nerve to say there are no health impacts?

As for Janice, oh, she's going to make a call to the AQMD? Thanks for the empty gesture; I think they have already fielded a call or two.
if anyone has photos
