Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Has Worst Year
Warren Buffett says the economic turmoil that contributed to a 62 percent profit drop last year at the holding company he controls is certain to continue in 2009, but the revered investor remains optimistic.
Buffett released his annual letter to Berkshire Hathaway Inc. shareholders Saturday morning, and detailed the worst performance in his 44 years leading the Omaha-based insurance and investment company.

Is Buffet one of the rich people Obama wants us to hate, or one we should like? I wish they would right the rules down on this class warfare.

With the lyuing neo-conservatives out of office; the wwarfare against the American middle-class is suspended.
Should they ever attain office again; the colleges will be much more quickly cut off, and closed.
The overall lying neo-conservative program is to eliminate all of the social progress of the 20th Century.
It is the lying neo-conservatives who preach and practice hate.(Ask John McCain about his campaign against George W Bush in 2000. Listen to Ann Coulteer's foul mouth.)
I hope that helps.

It is good news that big liberals Marxists like Billionair Buffett who supported the reckless give Blacks free houses of Bill Clintons Community Act of 1998 and pushed for the Acorn and Obamas nine million bad mortgages by Fannie Mae are paying big time for the Democrats and Obamas Marxist scam against the American people and their 233 years old constitution that was trashed by them.
Nevertheless, the American people had five weeks to learn enough about the African Islamic Messiah President Hussein Obama madness and self destruction plans against the American people and against the American dream.
Nevertheless, the Boston Tea Party that started the heroic American struggle of against the Brits is just the way the American people will defeat the evil totalitarian Islamic-rooted and Marxist tyranny of the cheat President Barack of the Luo Tribe of Kenya who seeks to take control of the private lives of the American people and take away their liberty and freedom.
The American people will not surrender to the radical self-hating and self- destruction delusional liberals who promised the Blacks and illegals free houses, free cars free healthcare paid by the Whites.
It is time for the American people to discover the true foreign, Islamic and Anti-American identity of their mysterious Tyrant Barack Obama which is covered-up by Democratic Jewish lawyers in US Courts.

You kind of went on a couple of different tangents, but the main point is Berkshire Hathaway had a bad 2008. If I recall correctly, G.W. Bush was President then.
But you seem to think that the entire reason B-H had a bad 2008 was because something Clinton did in 1998. That is completely simplistic, of course. But even if we assume that event is the only reason for the current financial situation, the GOP had plenty of ways to rectify the situation. They controlled congress in 1998 and again controlled both houses along with the Executive Branch from 2001 through 2006.
Bush managed to suspend habeas corpus during his term. Undoing a neighborhood rebuilding initiative should've been child's play for him.

If he has shares, he should cash out while he still can, perchance to enjpy it before his demise.
