Have you received your letter from ConocoPhillips demanding proof that a dependent “is really a dependent” for health insurance and dental plan? They have the audacity to demand you send things like a copy of your marriage license, a tax return, a copy of your bank statement, etc. What the heck!!! Has ConocoPhillips lost their mind? When you put your dependent on the plans you had to provide things like birth certificates and marriage licenses! As a stock holder I think this is an extreme waste of time and company funds. No wonder my stock value is not going up! And how much is being spent on this expensive project verses what the return will be in finding people that were put on the plan in error?? It’s about time that the retirees, employees and stock holders stood up to the current ConocoPhillips HR and demanded a smooth running efficent operation.
