This is press relese from Connecticut Light & Power With Hurricane Sandy strengthening in the Caribbean and forecasted to impact Connecticut early next week, Connecticut Light & Power has activated its emergency response plan, opened its Emergency Operations Center, and is making preparations for storm damage and restoration.

just heard someone say cl+p is shutting off the power to stations below sea level at 6pm on 10/29/12 to prevent damage from inevitable flooding. can someone confirm this please?
