Parent Company of Colgan Air In Financial Trouble
According to Bloomberg Businessweek.com, the CEO of Pinnacle Airlines -- the owner of Colgan Air -- said in a letter to employees that the company is in the midst of a tough economic crisis, leading financial and legal analysts to speculate of the company may have to enter Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

WELL WHAT DID THEY EXPECT AFTER THE COLGAN CRASH AND ALL THE STUFF ABOUT HOW COLGAN WAS RUN DURING THE CRASH HEARINGS ?? THE FEDS SHOULD HAVE CLOSED BOTH OF THESE AIRLINES DOWN THREE YEARS AGO ANYWAY FOR BEING UNSAFE.

Ahh did you lose track of how many certificates are actually owned by the parent company?
are the actual three... prior to the merger / asset transfer of Mesaba - Pinnacle - Colgan to two certificates.
Safe practices were obviously overlooked by the parent company in the name of greed for the few at the very top of the parent company.
