I have heard that Cabot Oil and Gas is pulling back on land leasing in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Does anyone know what is driving this?

I am involed with a group involved with monitoring the gas companies called SCEDAC.org . What I can tell you that is confirmed is due to the economy yes Cabot is pulling back on the land leasing and hiring. They have begun to pull more employees in from Texas and else where and will continue to the drilling they already have planned. Also they are get excellent product and volume from there drilling is PA at least. Hope the information helps
