They actually managed to be the WORST service ever recieved in my life. The decor was no better than a holiday inn lobby. Took 30 minutes for someone to come over just to take drink orders. another 30 minutes to get the drinks. both times a member of our party had to leave the table to get any service. we sat there with only water for an hour. drinks finally came, server did not know what drink was what. said "i think this one is chocolate something" well i would hope so given the name of place. Ordered entrees and appetizers at same time as drinks (remember it was an hour to decide) entrees came before appetizers, two appetizers missing. the hot entrees we ordered were freezing cold. stuck finger in the pork to test the temp. sent it back. instead of remaking a nice meal. they RE-HEATED PORK! i know because my finger imprint was still there. so now it was dried out as well as the sauce and potatoes with it. one member of our party got up to express her concern to a "manager". he said " what do you want me to do". the "co-owner" was as rude as him. her name was tammy. she actually lifted her shirt to reveal that she kept our food order on the waist of her pants. thanks for the skin show! all this is just the tip of the iceberg. Seriously think twice before attending this restaurant. when we left we decided to pay with cash, so as this place would not have the names of us complaining. we put all the cash on the table after we got the bill. the co-owner had the audacity to run us down outside and accuse us of dining and dashing. we instructed her to check the table, which we watched her do through the window. WOW, it was there. This is a franchise restaurant , and i will be writing my formal complaint to the franchisers. i have never been more insulted, frustrated, upset, and overall dissapointed by a restaurant. good luck chocolate bar, maybe go knock on mr.symon's door and ask for tips!

I had high hopes when I came into the place, but I wasn't super impressed. The service was very slow, prices were high, and the food wasn't really that great. Yes, if you really want your chocolate fix then this is a good place to go, but some of the chocolate is too worried about being fancy and not worried enough about tasting good.

I have read the review's and had mixed feelign about this place, but decided to go in for a try. I think we all need to support the Cleveland local businesses. The martini's were a little pricy, but hmm them were worth it!
For a downtown restaurant the menu it seemed to be more of sandwich/salad type of place. I have read the review before and it seems that people are expecting alot from bar food?
If your looking for a nice relaxing night out with alot of chocolate to choose from, I recommend going to this place. If you looking for 4-5 star restaurant, go to a restaurant that serves that type of menu.

I like the chocolate bar. their food is really good. and they have such a wide variety of chocolates to choose from. the bad reviews came from when they 1st opened and didn't have their staffing quite together. its a good place for lunch and u can bring the kids too :-)
