What would $1 billion in cuts mean for Cisco?

Just two years ago, Cisco Systems was one of the few big companies hiring and expanding its workforce, even as the global economy was reeling from the recession.
Anyone who goes to work for this mixed up Co is making a big mistake. Management there dosen't have realistic long term plans. Time and time again it seems they fail to look beyond their nose as to what to do next.
