Good for the farmers, they have taken a lot of abuse from Pilgrims, and Pilgrims Pride supporters. They dared to stand up for what is right against a corporate bully, and won. I wish others had the integrity, and courage to stand up against those who would do others wrong. We need more men and women of integrity, morality, and courage in this nation.

Agree...let's start with the president.

Hats off to the farmers lawyers. They fought what I understand is the largest law firm in the world, and won!

I don't think any of us have any idea what these farmers have gone through. My heart goes out to them and I thank them sticking with it.

What Pilgrims did to the many families in South Arkansas and North Lousiana was devastating. Many families not only lost their farms but also their homes and everything theyve worked years for. I truly hope that Bo Pilgrim understands what he has done. Maybe he will now that the farmers are digging in his pocket!

The retards at the newstimes put a headline in today's paper as "Pilgrims Pride Prevails". I really wish they could hire some professionals. It's becoming a joke.

Wow! That's a bad mistake! Having worked at a newspaper before, I know how easy it is for these things to happen, but ...wow! Here's one thing I do know - don't blame the newspaper as a whole. The story was right, but this bad headline was written by one person and one person only - whoever works as editor on the weekends. Something tells me he or she is gonna have a bad Monday when they face their bosses.

It's just one of many mistakes by this particular newspaper. Some of which have been often been liable and slander to citizens over the years. You will have an up hill battle defending this paper. Have fun.

You are right. The writers don't write their own headlines. Someone wrote it who probably didn't bother to read the story. That's not a small mistake, it's a huge one.
I wonder what other headlines don't match the stories?

There were 90+ farmers that were awarded 26 million. Minus whatever the attorneys get. Will that be enough for these farmers to pay off those empty chicken houses?

I support those farmers that went to great length to expose the corruption that is prevelant in this industry. But the fact remains that OLD Bo Pilgrim wasn't hurt by this litigation. Remember, Bo sold out. He first sold out the growers. Then Bo sold out his own town and took the money and is now drooling around town with his pockets stuffed with cash. I heard Bo is planning on trying to take the cash with him when he dies. Done bought a armour truck to put all that ill-gained money in to follow his hearse to the graveyard. Bo Pilgrim is a very rich man and will die a rich man. Judgment day is rapidly approaching for OLD Bo and what a legacy he has left to tarnish the Pilgrim name.

JBS realized they had to change the name of the company to try and diminish the impact of what Bo Pilgrim did to the farmers. Ain't it ironic that JBS removed OLD Bo's silloutte from their logo and also dropped the PRIDE. Sure wasn't any "pride" associated with that company. Now the company is just simply Pilgrim.
