Real investors hold stocks for the long haul, not the short profit and sell. I bought Pilgrims at about .25 cents a share. I've made a good bit of money now on a $250,000 investment, which has turned into $6,460,000 as of today, but I am holding on to it. The stock value today is $6.46 a share and I am still going to buy more as it keeps going up. On Pilgrims website they have 12 pages of jobs across the US. Most are managerial. If they were hurting these jobs would not be posted to be filled. One thing you will quickly learn about stocks is you don't follow the emotions of the market or some little Market Watch report as you have posted. People panic and sell when they should hold and these little reports help create that with the inexperienced investor. Look at how much money I have made in a very short time. Personally, I am glad this is happening for Pilgrims, I am now very well off because of it. I gambled my retirement on Bo Pilgrim and now I am a millionaire six times over. Everyone knew they would come back and they are doing it. Its too bad you have had bad luck with the company, but that happens. I understand your frustration, but people like myself see through you and what you are really trying to do in promoting a false sense of downfall for Pilgrims because of your misfortunes. As much as you hate Bo Pilgrim and the company, you have become just such a similar person with all of your hatred. Take what money you have and buy PPC Stock it will keep going up and you will make money. I'm living proof of it and thank God now everyday for Bo Pilgrim and Pilgrim's Pride. Even the security guard at the freezer plant gate stocked up on every penny of Pilgrim's Pride stock he could buy. He is now fairly well off because of Bo Pilgrim.
I bought alot in the .70 range per share, not quite as good as you, and did not spend as much money as you, but I have done very well, turning every say .75 cents into $6.46 a share as of yesterday as you said from the stock price. It will continue to go up. Great for all of us that love Pilgrim's Pride.

Guess you need to read some of your earlier postings. One of the commandments comes to mind, "Thou Shalt Not Lie." Your postings are pretty deep and then other postings attack people when they disagree with you and then it all escalates.
I have yet to see old farmer as the agressor, who attacked anyone. I have seen him defend his point, and defend himself after being attacked. I do know that many people are ignorant of so much that has been done to the farmers. Any intelligent person understands that saying someone is ignorant is not a put down, it is merely a statement one used when he/she know that the person that they are talking to just does not have the facts that support their statements. We farmers do have the facts, and it will come out in a court of law, next June. Before attacking me or old farmer, or canceled grower, etc, try considering that there is a good basis for our complaints against Pilgrims Pride. We have however been attacked in ertremely vulgar manners, by some who say that they don't even have a dog in the fight, and that they are not even with Pilgrims Pride, yet they seem to know a lot about company insider information, that only Pilgrims Pride employees might know. I find this extremely suspect to say the least. Why is it that people who supposedly have no dog in this fight, act as if they do. The farmers who are blogging on here want and need real change in the system. Three decades ago, when I was first in the business, there was still some integrity in the management of these companies. People will reap what they sow, and if Pilgrims Pride goes under, it will be from what they have sown, and not anything else. If you do good by people, it will come back to you, many times over, If you do bad by people, that will also come back to you many times over. We farmers have not wronged anyone. As a matter of fact, the majority of farmers that I know always go the extra mile, in makeing sure that they are always fair in all their business dealings. So if a farmer is telling you that you are ignorant in your statements, he is merely trying to help you understand that you do not have the facts to support your statements. We have the facts, and we are attempting to educate the public of great injustices done by these mega-integrators against the small poultry farmers from coast to coast. It just happens that in my thirty years of poultry experience, Pilgrims Pride has proven to be the harshest, most manupulative, and the most destructive company that we have ever been exposed to.

Sounds to me like that this company is more worried about their share holders rather than the farmers that are actually working and making all this money for them. Corporate greed at work again. And people wonder why this country is in such terrible shape.
