100 more jobs lost in the Souderton school district and the school teachers want an 8.2% raise. These bozos should get real. They turned down a reasonable offer by the Board. Now the Board should freeze their salaries and have them pay 30% towards their health care premiums like other employees do. States like Virginia, California and South Carolina have instituted salary freezes for teachers and admiinstators in these difficult times. Not possible in PA since legislators and PSEA are in same bed together.

One of the reasons that businesses and doctors leave PA is "lawsuit abuse". PA ranks 45th on the 2008 U.S.Tort Liability Index done by the Pacific Research Institute. Remember Rendell vetoed The Fair Share Act for his trial lawyer buddies and this put the screws to businesses, corporations, non-profits etc. North Carolina ranked third on this report. Guess where businesses like Mack Truck and Glaxo Smith/Kline relocated to. North Carolina
